the eyes of the beholder

a book i've been reading about fellatio asks the question: "why do men enjoy getting head?" it's the wrong question. the answer should begin with the acknowledgement that not all men do. good sexual advice never assumes that all bodies are the same and can be pleasured in the same ways. starting with that assumption is a prescription for disaster. it's a mistake i've made too often.

there are some of us, however, for whom a pair of hot lips wrapped around our swelling members is heaven on earth. the mouth and throat convey sensations that are unique. and the more skilled the bottom, the more pleasurable it can be for the top. the more skilled the top--the more sensitive to the nuances of desire and longing--the more pleasurable it will be for the bottom.

that pleasure, however, is more than the physical sensations. pleasure is also in the visual: the submission of the bottom, his rapt attention on your dick, his eyes looking up into yours with desire and longing, his willingness to surrender his mouth and throat to your penetration. some bloggers use the word "worship" here... he wants to be filled up. and you're there to give it to him.
there's a communication that takes place between a good oral top and his bottom that is not unlike a dance, in that each partner is constantly taking cues--visual and physical--from the other. it's a dance, however, that is being improvised at each step of the way; there is no choreographer but the two in the dance.
